Advance your career with a variety of our continuing education classes. We offer training to Cosmetologists, Barbers, Aestheticians, Nail Technicians, and Instructors in all of the aforementioned areas. (Eyebrow Threading Class is also open to the public!)
Once you obtain your initial license, you are required by the state of Illinois to complete continuing education hours every two years.
Eyebrow Threading Class
Eyebrow threading is exploding all across the United States! It now replaces waxing for many people who use acne medications and can no longer wax their brows. During the eyebrow threading class at A Little Spa Institute, you will learn how to thread the brows, upper lip, chin, and sides of the face. Your instructor will show you three forms of threading, including self-threading which you may then use for your own hair removal. All necessary materials are supplied for you in this class. Every attendee will receive a certificate upon completion.

Live far away? Can’t make it to class? Now you have another option! A Little Spa Institute presents, Threadingbare! In this 45 minute VIDEO sent to your email, you will learn two forms of threading, including self-threading which you may then use for your own hair removal.

Eyelash Extension Class - Not currently being offered.
The eyelash extension business is growing, and quickly! In the next three years it is expected to triple in size. Full-time Lash Artists can make up to $100,000 a year! During the Eyelash Extension class at A Little Spa institute, you will learn how to apply individual lashes. A full kit is included in this class. Every attendee will receive a certificate of completion.

Spray tanning has become "the way" to tan to prevent sun damage from UV rays. In A Little Spa Institute’s spray tanning class, you will learn what materials are required, how to set up your machine properly, how to prepare your client # you will also receive one tan yourself (if desired). All necessary materials will be supplied for you in the class. Every attendee will receive a certificate of completion.

Cancelation Policy: If you are unable to make your scheduled class, you must notify A Little Spa Institute seven days prior to the start date of the class. Your entire deposit will be transferred to any other class held within three months of the original class. After three months your deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations with less then seven days are non-transferrable and will be forfeited.
No-show policy: If you do not attend a class that you have registered for without notifying A Little Spa Institute, your deposit is forfeited. Please note, that our class sizes are small and we do have a wait list. If you cannot attend we would be more then happy to reschedule you to another class according to our Cancellation Policy.
