Mission Statement
Our mission at A Little Spa Institute is to ensure that our students are educated in a professional, safe, and supportive environment. We train our students to be experts in their field and to provide exceptional service and guidance in skin care, hair removal and nail maintenance.
A Little Spa opened its doors in 2007 as a privately owned Day Spa that provided facials, body waxing, eyebrow threading and nail services to its clients. Since then, A Little Spa has transformed into A Little Spa Institute, a top ranked, Post Graduate Training School for ambitious beauty professionals. With talented instructors in each classroom, we deliver a wealth of knowledge in every subject we teach. Our students can be found working in a variety of environments including the Aveda Salons, plastic surgeons offices, brow bars, and independently owned spas and salons. Many of our students have embarked on their own business ventures by opening their own spas and salons after graduation.

Meet the Founder
Jane Faynshteyn
As an instructor herself, Jane enjoys working closely with students and making a difference in their lives. Influenced by Jane’s industry experience, passion and positive spirit, the school offers a professional yet practical atmosphere where you can find the training, resources and support you need to pursue your career goals. Jane has developed an educational experience at A Little Spa Institute designed to promote achievement, self-confidence and lasting guidance and support for the student body. Jane is a licensed Aesthetician & Nail Technician as well as a licensed Aesthetics & Nail Instructor. She is an invited guest speaker at industry events, particularly in the field of Eyebrow Threading. In addition to her experience in the beauty industry, Jane is also a licensed elementary school teacher and has taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. Jane holds a B.S. degree in Business Management and Administration from Bradley University and an M.Ed. From DePaul University in Education.
